December 2010,CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE FOR SPECIALIST EDUCATIONAL COURSES AWARD EVENT
From a total of 80 attendants of specialist courses in entrepreneurship and communication,
30 had successfully finished all of the obligations related to the courses
(lecture attendance
and completion of the final paper) and according to the rules of the courses qualifie
d to receive the Certificate of attendance.

December 2010, NOVI PAZAR INCLUDED THE GENERAL PUBLIC’S PROPOSAL INTO THE BUDGET DRAFT
At the public meeting of Novi Pazar’s City council, held on 9th December 2010,
the initiative to increase the amount for social welfare and education in the budget for the next fiscal year was adopted.
This initiative was a result of participatory budgeting project, organized by BIRN Srbija and ProConcept.
November 2010, THE INDEX OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL RIGHTS FULFILMENT IN SERBIA
ProConcept has calculated The Index of Economic and Social Rights Fulfillment (ESRF Index) in Serbia, for 2010.
According to this index, Serbia achieves 88% of its total economic potential through public finance management in the sphere of economic and social right of its citizens.
ESRF Index was created by Sakiko Fukuda Parr and Terra Lawson-Remer from the New York University with Susan Randolph from the University of Connecticut, USA.
The ESRF index measures the fulfillment of economic and social rights in five dimensions based on economic and social rights
outlined in the Charter of United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Economic,
social and Human Rights: (1) the right to healthy food and proper drinking water; (2) the right to adequate education;
(3) the right to adequate healthcare; (4) the right to adequate housing; (5) the right to decent work and social security.
November 2010, THE SECOND NATIONAL BUDGET FORUM
Main topics of the second National Budget Forum,
organized by Birn Srbija and ProConcept and held in the National Assembly of Serbia,
were: the tax reform in the function of wider public sector reform, strengthening the process of adopting public policies and spending priorities for 2011.

Minister of Finance, Mrs. Diana Dragutinović;
Mrs. Ana Trbović, professor at Faculty of Economy, Finance and Administration and Mr. danko Ćosić, ProConcept’s Director,
all spoke in the introductory part of the NBF. The Facilitator of the NBF was Mr. Dimitrije Boarov, a journalist in the “Vreme” weekly magazine.
November, 2010, PROCONCEPT LEADS A TEAM FOR STRATEGY OF CIVIL SOCIETY DEVELOPMENT IN BELGRADE
At the first meeting of the Commission for the preparation and creation of the strategy to support the development of civil society on the territory of Belgrade,
a team gathered by ProConcept was presented. The team will be working on the strategy draft.
The principles and the working method in the process of drafting this document were also presented at that time.
The team working on strategy development includes Danko Ćosić, the director of ProConcept,
who is also the team leader; Žarko Paunović, the director of Faculty of Political Sciences; Jelena Lončar, an assisstent at the Faculty of Political Sciences;
Kara Stern, an independant consultant; Svetlana Logar, the director of researches at Ipsos Strategic Marketing;
Gradimir Zajić, the director of the Network of Social Policy Researchers; and Milica Gajić, the director of NGO Kiosk.
October 2010, SPECIALIST EDUCATIONAL ON-LINE COURSES ON THE TOPICS OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND COMMUNICATION HAVE STARTED
ProConcept is organizing two free on-line specialist courses iin entrepreneurship and communication, as a part of the support the organization provides to the persons intending to start their own enterprises, or improve an already existing business, or find employment.
The specialist program/course “Development of entrepreneurial skills” provides the participants with the knowledge in the areas of marketing, management and leadership. This program is designed for prospective and current young entrepreneurs.
The specialist program/course “Communication” provides the participants with the advanced knowledge in general communication theory, mass communication and interpersonal communication. This program is designed for prospective and current young entrepreneurs, as well as those in search of employment or those who wish to progress on the current job.

Activites
ProConcept is an expert civil society organization working on innovative management solutions for non-governmental organization, promotes social entrepreneurship and wider citizen participation in the sphere of public finance. ProConcept is implementing its activities through tree programs.
Civil Society Development Program includes direct work with civil society organizations and work at creating conditions for NGOs to effectively exercise their roles, minimize financial weaknesses and maximize their social impact. Helping the organizational development of the NGOs, through this program, ProConcept is raising their capacities to effect the environment and users.
Central activity of this program is focused on creation of a data base of active NGOs, using the „Index of NGO capacity“ and “NGO classification” , tools developed by ProConcept and successfully tested during the last four years.
In addition to that, Proconcept established an annual “NGO crystal award”, which promotes pro-active NGOs and encourages healthy competition within the civil society as a whole.
Public Finances and Good Governance Program aims at strengthening the role of the National Assembly, civil society organizations and public participation in the process of creating budget policies monitoring in Serbia, as well as strengthening accountability and efficiency in the sphere of public finances in Serbia, through raising the level of transparency of the process and civic participation in it. Central activity of the program is the www.skockajtebudzet.rs, as well as street activities, trainings and researches, and organization of public hearings, the MPs and the public in general are being informed about all of the relevant issues and dilemmas related to the management of public finances in Serbia.
Program of Support to Small and Medium Enterprises and Social Entrepreneurship in Serbia is focused on inspiring and supporting innovative entrepreneurial initiatives which, other than making profit, aim at supporting certain social changes. At the same time, through this program, ProConcept is trying to influence poverty reduction and strengthen an active and creative approach to entrepreneurship. Program’s central activity is a web portal “Biznis nije bauk”,www.smislibiznis.rs which promotes entrepreneurship using modern-age and popular tools of communication .
