Report on the Results of the Tender for Partners to the Fund for an Open Society

Out of the 60 invited non-governmental organisations from Serbia, 28 submitted their applications. Based upon the analyses of questionnaires submitted, the following 21 organisations have been shortlisted:

  2. Resource Centre, Leskovac;

  3. Village Doorstep 98, Sabac;

  4. Citizens Association “Millennium”;

  5. Educational Centre, Leskovac;

  6. Citizens’ Library “Pirgos”, Pirot;

  7. Toplica Centre for Democracy and Human Rights, Prokuplje;

  8. Forum for Civil Action FORCA, Pozega;

  9. Resource Centre, Bor;

  10. Citizens’ Forum of Municipality of Pirot (in coalition with other NGOs in the region);

  11. Forum Iuris, Novi Sad;

  12. European Movement, Smederevska Palanka;

  13. Association of Citizens “Sretenje”, Pozega;

  14. Citizens’ Council of Municipality of Kraljevo;

  15. Citizens’ Parliament, Cacak (in coalition with other NGOs in the region);

  16. Uzice Centre for Human Rights and Democracy;

  17. Citizens’ Library “Libergraf” Uzice (in coalition with other NGOs from the region);

  18. Resource Centre Negotin;

  19. Committee for Human Rights, Vranje (in coalition with other NGOs in the region);

  20. Timocki Club, Knjazevac (in coalition with other NGOs in the region).

  21. "Center for civic education - Vrsac"

The selection was based upon the following criteria: legal status of organisations, recent activities, technical equipment, contact/co-operation with local authorities and other NGOs, and organisational/structural capacities.

Interviews with representatives of 20 selected organisations/coalitions will be held between October 20th and 27th.
